Well Designed Snow Cap

I was really impressed with a number of things.
The snow cap came well packaged to prevent scratches, and included all necessary hardware, tools and relatively clear instructions.
The quality of the materials used are very high. It appears to have a finish that will be very durable.
Assembly was quire easy for the most part. The exception was installing the screws on the back side. Most heat pumps are installed close to the building so being able to line up the holes and screws on the back side was a bit of a challenge. Eventually I used the camera on my smart phone as a mirror to be able to install those screws.
The cap is now installed and looks really good on the heat pump and next to the house.
The price of the snow cap was a bit high for my liking, but I’m sure it is in part due to costs incurred with the design and engineering. It was very well thought out with an eye to making installation easy and straightforward and adaptable to varying sizes of heat pumps.
Now we’ll see how it actually handles the snow, but at this point I’m pretty confident it will work very well.
Overall, very impressive.
